901 Jefferson is a residential mixed-use project in downtown Oakland, that responded to the City of Oakland's 10K housing initiative. It provides 75 condominiums: 9 lofts, 15 one-bedrooms, and 51 two-bedrooms, parking for 75 cars, and one retail space.
901 Jefferson uses a proprietary steel structural system atop a concrete podium, as well as parking stacker. These devices helped us achieve 150 DUA on a very small downtown infill site. Exterior finishes include architectural-finish concrete, cement plaster, and corrugated metal siding. At the loft unit entry, wood paneling is provided to respond to the human scale.
