Pyatok Architects is currently designing a new phase of student housing development at UC Merced, to be delivered by a fast-track process for occupancy by August 2010 .  The new dormitories will be configured in two,
4-story buildings housing 316 students on a prominent site near the west entrance of the emerging campus. By providing walkable access to the heart of the campus and creating lively outdoor spaces, the Housing 3 project will strengthen the developing Northern student neighborhood. Pyatok Architects completed the initial program and budget confirmation of the Housing 3 project, along with the Master Planning of future Housing 4 project which will share the 2.2 acre parcel.
