Located two block south of campus near Telegraph Ave., the Channing-Bowditch Residence Hall offers students independent apartment style living. The design compliments the neighboring Shorb House and the Anna Head School, historic shingle style buildings characteristic of the neighborhood. The building is comprised of 57 apartments providing 228 beds in single and double occupant bedrooms. The three story wings fronting Channing Street each have a direct entry from the street and serving four single and double occupancy units. These street oriented units provide a more independent living environment attractive to upper level students, and provide a more active street frontage.
