Finishing second in a competition which included 350 entries worldwide, Pyatok Associates conceived a landscaped low-rise Civic Center linked by a variety of public spaces next to the adjacent Pacific Design Center and the town fabric beyond. Government functions, administrative offices, a library, a performing arts amphitheater, and firehouse are woven together with planting, paving, and shaped spaces that invite public participation and civic pride.
