Wood Street Apartments, a residential mixed-use project, responds to the Wood Street Zoning District, to invigorate this West Oakland neighborhood. The project consists of six acres to be developed in two phases, approximately 300 units total. Phase One, 162 units, consists of one and two bedroom flats and townhouses. The four-story garage at the center of each phase is concealed by housing wrapping it on all sides. Phase One includes significant commercial and community-serving space, and will utilize green site strategies for cooling, water and energy-use reduction. |
