PYATOK has renewed our Just 2.0 designation for 2024-2026, commencing our third cycle of being a Just organization.
Administered by the International Living Futures Institute, Just is a voluntary business transparency platform - a "nutrition label for socially just and equitable organizations." ILFI launched the program in 2014, noticing a lack of accountability for the "people" component of triple bottom line sustainability, and sought to develop a universal means of measuring equity practices and progress. Today, the revised Just 2.0 discloses policies and practices on human resources and community stewardship, and provides tools and incentives for leveling up social equity in the workplace. Twenty-two "social justice indicators" are evaluated within six general categories:
- Diversity & Inclusion
- Equity
- Employee Health
- Employee Benefits
- Stewardship
- Purchasing & Supply Chain
In 2018, PYATOK formed an Equity Task Force to review our equitable practices and policies, and soon thereafter decided to apply the Just program criteria to this assessment. Just gave us the opportunity to review, affirm, and expand our existing policies, as well as acknowledge or formalize additional employee and stewardship practices. A Just 2.0 organization since 2019, we continue to leverage the program to refine our equity practices and create the most supportive environment possible for our employees and communities.
PYATOK’s Just scoring details and policy statements are publicly available on the Just database.
