Karl has accumulated a broad experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, and facilities planning in sectors ranging from nonprofit organizations to mission-driven architecture offices. At PYATOK, Karl celebrates the firm's work, supports office resources and business development, and advocates for exemplary housing design.

Karl holds an MA in Interdisciplinary Design Strategies from the Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Dun Laoghaire, a certificate in interdisciplinary design from the Institute without Boundaries in Toronto, and a B.Arch from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Karl is a dedicated flâneur and occasional urban sketcher.
