PYATOK has renewed its Just 2.0 designation.

Administered by the International Living Futures Institute (ILFI), Just is a voluntary business transparency platform - a “nutrition label for socially just and equitable organizations” - that discloses policies and practices on human resources and community stewardship, and provides tools and incentives for leveling up social equity in the workplace. The program evaluates 22 “Social Justice Indicators” within six general categories: Diversity and Inclusion; Equity; Employee Health; Employee Benefits; Stewardship; and Purchasing/Supply Chain. ILFI launched the Just program in 2014, noticing a lack of accountability for the “people” component of triple bottom line sustainability, and sought to develop a universal means of measuring equity practices and progress.

In 2018, PYATOK formed an Equity Task Force to review our equitable practices and policies, and soon thereafter decided to apply the Just program criteria to this assessment. Just gave us the opportunity to review, affirm, and expand our existing policies, as well as acknowledge or formalize additional employee and stewardship practices. The designation requires reappraisal every two years; the most recent renewal was completed in February 2022. A Just 2.0 organization since 2019, we continue to leverage the program to refine our equity practices and create the most supportive environment possible for our employees and communities.
